The Flying W AirRanch
is located 60 miles north of Tampa, FL, 2 miles west of I-75 at the Bushnell FL exit
and about 35 miles south of Ocala, FL.
It has an east-west, 3400-ft lighted
grass strip that has been established for 30 years.The unicom is 123.0 and GPS coordinates
are N28 41 00 W82 09 49. The Airport ID is
9FL1. It no longer has a bed and breakfast facility and is now a private air park.
Fifteen one-acre residential lots are located on the north and south
edges of the runway and are now mostly gone.
Robby Williams, owner of the Flying W,
has closed down his Petting Zoo but still has 8 Clydesdale horses for sale --
