This comes from Bill Somerville,  I have his permission to post it here--

Hi Alice, I just learned about Sven and have been trying to get your address etc. and recently have P.C.  E-Mail capability and I hope this works as I'm new at it. I was so shocked to hear about Sven as I had so many good memories of him and you that it really blew me away. He was quite a man a definite man's man and he would wear you out no matter what you did with him. Both Jerry Eckhardt and I always said we thought we were in shape until we met Sven. I know you must miss him terribly and there really isn't
anything that anyone can say to take that hurt away. Thank God we have the
hope of meeting again but just wish we didn't have to go through this
other part, cause this really hurts. Both Shirley and i will pray for you as you
go through this time of loss that the good Lord will somehow comfort you
daily. I can still remember when you two got together at the M.V. and what
a time you had.

God bless you, Love ya, Bill Somerville [Slim]

Thanks Bill-- I forwarded your note to Alice-- if you care to-- please sign
Sven's guest book-- or send me a note and I'll post it-- I wouldnt want to do it without your permision--
Thanks--
Sam
(Sven's brother)

Hi Sam, Thanks so much for the reply. You definitely have my permission to
post this note I'm sending if you like.  Your brother was very special to me
and had a servants heart. I remember one Christmas that he was going around
picking up the trash because he wanted to give the guy who normally did that
job a break for the holidays, thats how he was. Went hiking with him once up
a trail into the Coronado preserve and he literally ran up the mountain while the rest of us tried to catch our breath. I can't tell you enough how bad I felt upon hearing of his passing. Apparently God needed a special friend to be with him and who better than Sven. I remember when I told him once how good he sang and he was embarrassed by that. Sven had a heart for God and for people and I'm sure they broke the mold after he was made. I have to be honest I always got a kick out of him when someone or something got him upset, it was in that respect we had a lot in common, and he would turn bright red. We laughed many times as we would settle each other down. Sven was someone you could be yourself around without fear of him being judgemental, a regular guy who you would be comfortable with. God bless you as you go through this. What a great welcome he will give us when we see him again as we surely will. He had a smile that would light up a room, and we both can look forward to that for sure.
